Does the Greenfield filter cause you any discomfort?

Because of my history of blood clots, a Greenfield filter was placed in my groin. it is now 7 weeks since it was placed there and it still bothers me. Those people who had one inserted, does it bother you too? It's not a lot of pain, but it is definately uncomfortable! Unless it's my new hernia that is causing the trouble!!!!
