When should I stop draining fluid

I am almost 3 weeks post op TT and hernia repair. I had my drains removed almost 2 weeks ago but since then the DR has been draing about 150 cc of fluid a day. When should I start "drying" up? Also one side of my body seems more lumpy than the other, will that even out later on?
