i need to know what is good over the counter for gas

i just had too much abdominal pain and had an ultrasound yesterday. nothing definite yet but the tech said it looked like a lot of gas inside...so i was wondering what would be a safe thing to take over-the-counter. I had even thought of taking phospa soda...the thing we took prior to having the wls to cleanse out my stomach..it that too strong or maybe a mild laxative or anti-gas medicine..what is best ..pls help.
