Do you remember me?
I am the one who went to the psych evaluation and the Doctor said I should read dr. Phil's book. It turns out that another psychologist from the surgical group had to go over what my doc said to make sure everything was on the up and up. The second doc said I am depressed and that he would not approve the surgery unless I agree to psych drugs and six months of counseling. Do you remember? Okay. I am going to a different surgeon and getting a second opinion. When I called my insurance company and told them the story, they said they have not even received a copy of my psych evaluation yet. Can I prevent them from getting that copy since I am having another psych evaluation with someone who specializes in Bariatric patients? The lady at the insurance company was asking me what the first PhD's name was and how to spell it? Why did she want to know that unless she is going to try to get a copy of that? I am going out of network now and I think the insurance company is going to pay for it. It does help to have a top notch Chicago lawer in the family.... What do you think? Thanks...
