If anyone has used Dr.Alexander in Dallas Tx.\ Others help w/surgery?

I am schedualed for surgery on Jan.20,2003. Really excited but just found out tonight from a friend,also Dr.Alexander patient who had the surgery in June 2002. Anyway... She is still getting bills from other Doctors that said they assisted w/the surgery!!!I mean alot of different doctors! Is this common? I am going to call tomorrow to ask,but I was just wanting to hear from some of his other patients to see what happened w/them. Thank you for your help!!!
