Will I be approved without a medically supervised diet in the last 2 years?

I am 200+ pounds overweight and have been dieting for the past 15 years or so...but in the last 2 years I don't have any documentation of a medically supervised diet. Just prior to that I had been on a medically supervised diet for 5 years. I have several comorbidities and the BTC representative still says that Aetna PPO will reject me. I have just begun a plan with my PCP taking Meridia. Will this be enough or will I have another 6 month wait for approval?
