High platelets

I just had blood taken and the results were that my platelets were to high, had to go to a hematology group and have more blood taken. Results back Monday, Keeping our fingers crossed that it isn't serious and that I will still be able to have WLS. (Waiting on insurance) Any one else with elevated platelets?
