I believe my wife has come down with a virus 5 weeks, post-op?

My wife is 5 weeks post-op tomorrow, yesterday afternoon she started having diarrea, (had constipation last week, took colacis, though it was residue of med.), later in day she started having nausea and no appeaiate, called dr. this morning told her to go back on liquid diet (had been eating just about anything lobster, fried fish chicken wings), and gave her a rx. for regenlon, any one else have similar things happen, please give me a response, i am a little concerned. thanks
