My wife had Lap "RNY" on 5-8, and to have emergency open surgery on 5-9 in order to fix 2 leaks in her bowel, she was discharged from hospital yesterday, the doctor is happy with her progress, my question is when can i relax at home every time my wife sneezes or coughs i check on her to make sure she is ok, i know there are the few exceptions, but when is it safe to say that you are over the point when most complications occur?
