medicare and the svg

Hi, I finally got a call from the doctors office after leaving a message with the nut about seen another doctor. I have appt to talk with the dr about a revision. I was looking into the sleve but office person told me that medicare do not covers the svg. I will have to do rny, and i am kind of scared. if there is anyone who have medicare and it paid for the svg and anyone that went from the band to rny or something else.
