Anyone having problems taking meds after surgery?

I am 7 days post-op. I am having a difficult time taking my actigal, norvasc, and avalide. I have to crush everything or open the capsules. I just started full liquids. The most successful way I've gotten it down is by encapsulating it in SF water ice. This however backfired on me today. I immediately vomited afterward. The very thought of taking it in makes me nauseous now. How do you get it in during the recovery "crush" period? I need these meds!!!
