Going from lap-band to gastric bypass

Hey all, I've had the lap-band surgery and it did not work at all for me and i am now scheduled to have the gastric bypass in august. I heard that if you've had weight loss surgery prior then the success rate isn't as high especially if you've had lap-band. Is this true? Will i still lose all of the weight i want even if i've had lapband?? Right now i weigh 330lbs i want to be down to 140lbs and i'm 5'10", would i still lose ALL of the weight?
