Lightheaded - falling asleep instantly? VERY CONCERNED

I had RNY August 2009, was doing great until December, then had a bad adhesion and the small intestines at the pouch attachment had grown & was recut. This started 3 months of complications (severe pain in remnant stomach, pain when eating by mouth, nausea). As of April 2nd I am back to eating, but am nausea ALL the time. Yesterday, I was at Ruby Tuesday and ate 1/2 cup of spinach leaves, egg, cheese and a little bit of Blue CHeese dressing. (I have eaten this before.) and all of a sudden I felt light headed and my eyes were very heavy. Then without warning I fell asleep until the food came. When the waitress came she startled me. I woke up and had to go to the bathroom. I walked to the bathroom, had a bit of diarrehea (this is normal at this point), and apparently fell asleep again for like 15 minutes. When I came out of the bathroom I was absolutely fine. I was wide awake and felt FINE! I originally thought it was a bout of dumping syndrome, but I had NO sugar. I have an appt. with my surgeon on Wednesday, but I wanted to know if anyone else as been in this situation, My surgeon has been fanastic through all of my complication and I hate to go with another problem!
