when does the pain,nausea and vomitting stop

My wife had bypass on 07-02-09 has had constant problems sinse. In and out of hospital twice by ambulance readmitted 3 times to Un of Md in there now. Laporscopic done on 08-02-09 Dr said all is fine she cant hold down water, not alone food. Im at my wits end totally helpless Dr says its in her head that she should be pain free but she is in constant discomfort.
