Can someone be allergic to certain vitamins?

My surgery was 7-22-08 and I have been diligently taking my multi-vitamins ever since. I changed from the Flinstones chewables to Centrum Silver chewables (I'm 51) because there are so many more vitamins in the Centrum Silver. BUT, ever since starting to take the Centrum Silver, I have been breaking out in little, red, itchy spots on my feet (a lot) and legs (a little) and a few on my arms. Could I be allergic to something in the Centrum Silver? I had also starting taking fish oil at the same time and thought that was the reason for the breakouts. I stopped taking it immediatly and the spots continue coming... so it wasn't the fish oil. I really don't want to stop taking the Centrum Silver... it's crammed with all of the right things (except one in my case?)... but these itchy spots are driving me crazy! Has anyone ever heard of this?
