When people speak of total weight loss after surgery....

do you mean including your pre-op diet phase as well? I am confused because I lost 16lbs before surgery on liquids, then since RNY (12/06/07) I have lost an additional 16 lbs. I tell people I have lost 32 lbs...not just 16. Is that incorrect? When someone says they lost 30lbs in one month is that really all after the surgery???
