After surgery, did your shoe size get smaller?

Hello, I am pre-op. My date is 4.27.06. I cannot wait! I was wondering if your feet get smaller after surgery? I keep hoping that maybe this summer I will be able to wear some really cute sandals and shoes, but, not if my feet stay fat like they are. Did your shoe size get smaller? thank you!
