will this stop my operation

I'm 3 pounds away from my goal weightto having the surgery. I'm going to have a RNY. I found out that it should be sometime in June. My problem is I hate telling you all this, but this is one place you can put everything out on the table and get answers. I have never had good teeth I brush them, but I have always had problems one way or anther with them. I flossed them and the next day my gums were swelled, and still are. Is this something that wil posepone my surgery if it's not taken care of before hand? I don't have money for a dentist bill along with my surgery. I have read other entry's where someone had said their teeth were bad before surgery and they ended up falling out, and they had no choice and got false teeth. Is this true?, and Is waht I'm dealing with something anyone else faced before surgery? I just want to know would this problem stop me from having my surgery? I'm going to take care of it I just dont want to have my surgery poseponed. I know I'm not the only one out there with this problem, cuz I have read enrty's about teeth problems, but at the time I was Ok, and thought to myself that can be me. Whatever way it goes i know God has a plan for me. Please if you can anwser my question I would very Thankful. Sorry it has to be on teeth of all things.
