Anyone from British Columbia, Canada had lap band surgery?

Where to go for surgery? Would our MSP cover? Is it ok to pay less and go to Mexico, i don't want bargain basement priced surgery,i might get what i pay for. Any comments, info? Has anyone been embarassed to get this surgery?
