Does anyone know if ASSURANT-formerly Fortis, John Alden-covers WLS?

I have looked in the questions pages and there is nothing about Assurant at all. I would like to know if anyone has been approved with the individual plan. I have the opportunity to be covered by this insurance through my job, but I do not want to pay the premium if wls is not a covered benefit. I know that sounds bad, but we have four kids, and we are covered by my husband's Blue Cross. Thank you for reading this-hopefully someone has had approval. MB
