Are GHRS safe to take prior to surgery.

I been taking Growth Hormone Releasers for the past week to help me lose some weight prior to surgery next month. I take them before I walk and before I go to sleep. They are proteins(amino acids-Arginine,Lysine and Ornithine.) My question is how many weeks or days prior to surgery should you stop taking them?
