Hysterectomy and Weight Gain

I had Lap RNY on 2/21/08 and am down to 220 lbs. from 374 lbs. I am happy at this weight but recently found out that due to some very large uterine fibroids, I may need a hysterectomy. I am petrified that this would cause weight gain. Does anyone mind sharing their story with me if they had a similar experience? Did you gain weight? What changes did you experience if any? Where there any complications or side effects? I appreciate your responses. Have a great day all! Marion
