Nervous

I'm nervous about surgery and was wondering if anyone felt sick right afterwards. I had an EGD on May 5th and I have been sick ever since. I have had several surgeries in the past and have never been sick before. Maybe, because I'm older now, but anyway I'm nervous just the same. I'm waiting on approval (CIGNA Open Access). I did clear liquids for 24 hours and my appetite hasn't come back, but that's okay. Has anyone had this same experience?
