How Have you Been able to maintain your Weight Loss after Surgery if on steroids?

(I am asking this on behalf of a friend who does not have a computer.) My friend had RNY 10 years ago, and this 2 weeks ago, she had a revision done. She gained a lot of weight back due in part to the steroids her Dr. has her on for her Degenerative Disc Disease. She says that she does not want all her hard work to go down the drain because of her steroids. She will work to eat/snack healthy and maintain regular exercise, but she is worried the Steriods will "Blow her up" again. Please provide any helpful information that I may be able to pass on to her. Feel free to message me as well. Thanks!
