does health insurance cover lap-band surgeries

I have tried to email on or if my blue cross blue shield would cover the lap-band. I left a email with a doctor and no one has contact me. i need some answers about this. I am very dertermine to get this done, I want to do this for me so my feet doesn't hurt, my legs hurt. I want to live a long life to see my son get married and have children. please get back to me, thank you antoinette
