My PCP tells me my B-12 level should not be at more than 500.

I've been blood-tested at up to 2000 for b-12 level and my PCP had a fit and said I was in the toxic range. I told her I was told by my (retired) surgeon that we can't have too high a level. Right now I'm at 700. Is that enough????? Thanks.
