Has anyone ever had extra skin removed by their GYN doctor while he is doing a

Hysterectomy. I'm having a hysterectomy done in a month and my insurance has denied a TT, but my OB/GYN doctor said he can do a panni. Since being a single mom I cannot afford a full TT and am seriously thinking about going through with it and letting him take off the xtra skin. Has anyone else done this?
