Anyone trade a food obsession for alcohol obsession?
I am concerned with my drinking habits. For the last two years (I'm 3 1/2 years postop), I've been enjoying drinking two glasses of wine each night. It didn't cause any problems with my life, I still got up and did what I had to do. My only concern was coming from non-drinkers, I thought I must have been a raging drunk. Now, I'm trying to get pregnant. I've tried to cut down to only the weekends. I do miss it though a lot. It was like my something special at the end of the day. Now I think maybe I switched one obsession (food) for another (alcohol). Problem is if I go back to food, I'll probably regain. Any suggestions on cutting wine out of my life without me feeling so deprived? I don't think I need AA right now.
