Can you have two weight loss surgeries?

I had a vertical banded gastroplasty in 2003. I lost 140 lbs. and became pregnant in 2004. I've had no luck in losing anymore weight, in fact I've gained 60 lbs. back and haven't been able to shake it. Is it possible to have a Lapband done even though I've had a VBG previously?
