Weight loss

I had surgery on 7/7/09 and have lost a total of 43lbs. My question is, is there anyone out there who has lost at least a total of 160 or more. When I read other post some people have lost a lot more weight then I have in the beginning. I need to loose at least 180lbs to be at my ideal goal weight goal for me. I'm feeling kind of depressed and thinking that this will never happen.
