digital scale trouble?

anyone have trouble with digital scales? i am so upset i thought i had lost 40lbs so far 6 wks.post-op(been using a very cheap walmart digital scale) went to the doc on tues he said only 28lbs. went out today and bought a very expensive digital scale and it says only 28lbs.
