what meds are toy to take for cramps after you get a RNY

I haven't had my surgey yet I'm going to have my RNY on June 29th. I'm just wondering what can I take for cramps when my menstrual cycle starts. I know there are medications after the surgery I can no longer take. Would midol be a problem or is there something else I should take? I'm just wondering please get back to me if you can....
