i am post op 9mo from lap band and vomit daily
i have had a really hard time finding the right amount of fluid in the band that works, for many months it was either far to tight and i couldnt swollow saliva to no restriction at all, now for about 2 months i have had good restriction although in the past month i find its very hit and miss with what i can eat, every meal is a guessing game, i rarely eat any meat, i stay with the soft or liguid foods, soups alot, pureed beans, when i try to eat anything of consistancy i get sick immediatly no matter how much i chew it, some days i cant even tolerate liquids, then the next i can eat an entire small flour tortilla with a peice of chicken, why is this happening, i have followed the rules of no drinking before and after, small portions etc, any suggestions? i am afraid of going in and letting out any fluid as every time that has happened prior then the battle of finding what i call the sweet spot of a fill begins, and i dont want to end up in the ER everytime i get a fill because i cant swollow or the reverse and i have no restriction. any advise would be helpful. thank you
