Has anyone caught C. Diff from the hospital with this surgery before?

If so how long after you started the antibiotic did it take to stop having the diarhea? I am 3 wks 2 days post op and am having a hard time getting my food in with the nausea the med. is causing. Any suggestions? My nutri said I could try a cracker or a spoon of mashed potatoes w/ protein. The med. must be taken w/food.
