Lap Band after Gastric Bypass?

I had Gastric Bypass 6 years ago. After I had my son, I have gained some weight back and have not been able to get it off. My weight is slowly creeping back on. I was curious if anyone has had the lap band after their gastric bypass and if it was successful etc. I am also having trouble finding a surgeon that will do the lap band after the g/b. Any tips on finding a surgeon in my area that will do this? I live in Florida and am also willing to self-pay if denied by Aetna. Thanks so much for all your input.
