losing rest of weight after twins?
Started at 290lbs when I had surgery in 7/04. By March '05 only 7 months out I went down to 158 and ended up getting pregnant. May 1st 05, one week after finding out about pregnancy, I had intestinal hernia with bowel obstruction and had to have emergency surgery. In which case went down to 145lbs. By the time I had the twins, yes twins, I weighed 180 lbs (not alot of gain for twins :-) ) Within one week I went back down to 155 and have been holding between 150 - 160lbs for seven months now. During Post-partum depression, I didn't care about weight, nor di I care if I overate, underate, nothing. It is concerning me now that I am paying attention again. I am 5'2" and at 155-160 (depending on the day) and want to lose at least another 30lbs possibly 40lbs. What can I do to jumpstart? Or is there anything I can do. I do not breastfeed, so I don't have to worry about the boys nutrition, just mine. Where can I get the willpower to go back to basics with the liquid, or can I just start with soft foods? Or can I just not eat more than 4oz of whatever it is per meal? Also, how do you break the habit of drinking while eating? Before the pregnancy I just couldn't do it, but when I got pregnant, I had to drink all day long cause I had to eat very frequently since it was such small amounts and ended up dehydrated so I had to drink while eating too. and I have been able to do so since and can't seem to break the habit. Any post-prego moms that lost the extra weight after baby, not just what was gained during pregnancy but any extra weight, like where I am at now? Please help. Thanks
