I am terrified of hair loss.My nurtionist reccommended Biotin 1000mcg

I am 4 weeks pre-op. going with the LAP RNY. I feel sort of vain asking this.....any thoughts or experinces to share would be appreciated. Also thanks for all the answers to my previous question.
