Re bowel movements

I am 6 days post op. Yes I'm on a liquid diet, if you call mashed potatoes and cream soup liquid diet. Trying to figure out the right way to get all the protien and calories. Anyway question is about bowel movements. I had myh first yesterday evening. It was liquid and gassy I almost didn't make it cuz I thought it was gas. This has continued till today for aproximately 5 bathroom trips. Is this normal or is this the dumping thing?
