Will I still be able to have a kid?

I am 22 and I have been scheduled to have my surgery on Feb.9. I have not had kids yet and I worried that I will not be able to after. (I know that I need to wait 2 years after surgery) Has anyone has surgery before kids? If so was your body able to provide the right amount of nutrition for the baby? The reason I am asking is I have heard of people who become malnutrition and hospitalized or bulimic
