has anyone taken COLD-FX ? it's mainly ginseng - could it hurt my pouch?

my date was Nov 5th 2007 I am 3 months out - I had great pain in the midle of my chest when I drank anything and had to be scoped dec 5th 2007. Good news was that it was inflamation of the lining and it was corrected by taking meds for two weeks. any on know if taking ginseng will irritate my pouch? thanks for the help!
