Why is my insurance looking at my BMI alone without looking at my comorbites?

I fluctuate beteen 35.1 to 37 which shows I'm severly obese. I have sleep apnea, hypertension, mitral valve prolapse and regurgitation along with other significant comorbites. Why are they giving me so much trouble?
