Does satiety improve once you're eating pureed "real" food.

I'm 8 days post-op and sad to say I'm already so sick of the liquids. I long for actual food and as of yet I don't feel much satiety at all from protein drinks. I feel hungry often which I assume is from the rapid transit through the new pouch (that is, nothing stays in there for long). I'm assuming that once I have some substance (pureed chili, pureed veggies, pureed meat, etc.) I will have more of the "full" satisfied feeling after I eat. Can anyone give me a vision of things to come? To date I have lost 20# since surgery, but I'm sure about 5#was water from all the IV fluid they gave me.
