Anyone have a lapband after having an open RNY?

I had an RNY in 2001 and have gained back 50 pounds. I am thinking of having a lap band as I am 58 yrs. and am afraid of a total reivision due to statistics. I am desperate and feel like #%$^. Has anyone done this? PLEASE HELP ME. DoJa
