I'm getting ready to start the process of getting all my tests, help?

I've gone to my surgeons seminar and was given a packet that told me what tests my PCP needs to request I've got all the blood work done but still have the EKG, Psych Eval, Pulmonary Function and chest X-ray. I've read a lot of info on line but was curious for those of you who have already gone through this what exactly the tests entail and how long they take. Any help in this would be greatly appreciated!
