I have a cold and I'm scheduled for surgery on Friday!!!!

Does anyone know if I will be able to have my RNY on Friday? My cold is not bad, no fever,no coughing, no runny nose, just stuffy and a scratchy throat. I would really hate to be pushed back, the doc is so busy I probably wouldn't be able to get in until December.
