3 meals a day or 6?

Hi Folks, My husband and I are having gurgery on the last week of November, Praise the LORD! Now he believes the with the lap-band you need to eat 6 meals a day and I believe it is 3 meals a day, or at least when your hungry. I would like to hear your opinions, I've got 1 week of laundry riding on this one :o) Thanks!!! ~Nancy
