What do I do now?

My surgeon sent in documents to get a TT covered and I was denied. I have Humana HMO Choicecare. The reason they gave was they do not cover anything obesity related. SO what can I do. I have a lot of pain and discomfort in my lower back and abdoman from the weight of the skin pulling. I wear gurdles so it doesn't hurt so much. Is there anything that I can do to get the surgery covered? I don't have any rashes, just lot's of skin and discomfort.
