Why am I belching?

I had gastric bypass about 10 months ago. In the last few weeks I have started belching non-stop. And it is not normal belching, it is very forceful belching that occurs every several minutes all day long. It even wakes me up from a very sound sleep. Why? Any help would be appreciated.
