LIQUID DIET after surgery

I had lap band Surgery on 12/11/2007 and my question is how many weeks has everyone else waited before they went off CLEAR liquids and started the liquid diet. I'm so ready to throw the Jello and chicken broth in the trash and eat some soup. thanks
