Protein.. Has anyone lost weight quickly without taking any extra?
I had my surgery on Oct 3 and have lost almost 50lbs.. My doctor does not recommend any extra protein and all his patients have lost weight... My problem is I had thyroid cancer so I was told my weight loss would be slow anyway.. I just need to know if I should be too concerned with taking any extra? I eat high protien foods anyway so I get between 35 and 50 grams a day and I workout at the gym and I drink all my water, I just cannot stand the protein drinks or the bars.
